August 24, 2009 - The National Capitals Volleyball Club (NCVC) and the Ottawa Kangaroo Volleyball Club (OKVC) are pleased to announce the merging of their two organizations into one club effective immediately. The merging of the NCVC, which recently celebrated their fifth anniversary, and the OKVC, which was created in 1992, will form one of the largest and most successful youth volleyball clubs in Ontario and Canada. "We are very excited about this merger", stated NCVC President Bob O'Doherty, "and being able to leverage the resources of the Caps and the Roos to produce better volleyball opportunities for athletes and coaches at the Provincial, National and International levels."
