December 14, 2008 — The 14U Girls travelled on Sunday to scrimmage once again with the Ottawa Mavericks and with the Gatineau Griffons for the first time.
A much improved CAPS team played the Griffons first and lost both sets in a close match. They then played the Mavericks and had a much closer match, winning the first set then losing the next two by just a few points. Improvement was clearly seen in the CAPS team with long rallies and spectacular digs. We will prevail next time! Way to go CAPS!
