November 3, 2007 - Finally, we were on our way to our first tournament as the newly formed 17U CAPS.  The day started out with a phone call from Paul - "Laura has been sick all night and won't be able to play" ... oh my gosh! ... Krazy!!  The ride down with Matt and Mike was a 'Transforming' experience: and set the stage for a fun day.

The team (minus Laura) made it to the gym on time.  It was the debut of our Krazy shorts ... lookin' good girls!  We won our first four matches in straight sets with some Krazy hits, sets and digs.  On to Pool crossover ... we were up against Kingston Pegasus 17U.  The Pegasus girls dug like Krazy and had a well-deserved win in the first set.  Second set was on ... the CAPS hit like Krazy and we were off to the tie-breaker.  Unfortunately, our stamina was not a presence on the court and we finished in second place to Pegasus ... Krazy!  

Thanks to Laura for coming down mid-day (Krazy!) to help cheer us on from the bench.

Also, a big thank-you to Matt, Jess, Chris and Mike (the 'new' guy) for coaching and encouraging a group of girls who can be, well, sometimes Krazy!
