September 2, 2007 - Long overdue
thanks and credit is due our CAPS girls who did a great job
representing the club and the province this summer at the National
Team Challenge Cup (NTCC) in London, Ontario. The
ON1 team featured our own Katee Luecke,
Stephanie McGuinty, Erin O'Doherty and
Gabrielle Vallée. The ON2 team featured
CAPS Sarah Fetterly, Sarah Joy and
Kalyn Mostert, and was coached by our own Cathy
O'Doherty.
Congratulations as well go out to Becky
Billings, Emily Kyte and Sofia
Sturova for being granted invites to attend the OVA High
Performance Centre in early July.
For the CAPS to have taken over 25% of the spots available on
Team Ontario is a real credit to the girls and to all those who work
so hard behind the scenes to make sure the girls have all the tools
and resources they need to succeed. Congratulations ladies -
and Coach O'Doherty!
