August 5, 2007 - Who would have thought that a duo which played only four tournaments (including this one) and who never practice together would reach the podium in 18U/Tier II at the Ontario Volleyball Association Beach Provincial Championships in Toronto this past weekend?  Well, the unorthodox style of Gina Morphy and Haley Wolfenden (18U in 2007-2008) proved to be coated in bronze as they endured a long, sunny, breezy day at Ashbridges Bay.  Congratulations Gina and Haley on your great performances.

The CAPS were well-represented at the event by the teams of Becky Billings & Emily Kyte, Lauren Carter & Rebecca Crosier, and by CAPS alumni Tess Edwards, Melissa Zéroual and Véronique Beaudry.

As always, thanks should go out to all the parents and friends who provided transport, accommodation, snacks and encouragement.  See you indoors soon.
