April 20, 2006 - Congratulations are due to 3 of our 14U
CAPS, Kayla Lafrenière, Jamie Bullbrook and Kristen
Ritchie, all of whom have been offered invitations to the OVA's
2nd annual 14U FUNdamentals Centre, to be held from July 20-23,
2006 at Queen's University in Kingston.
The goal of the 14U FUNdamentals
Centre is to create a positive fun environment where kids that
have great athletic potential can learn and obtain the volleyball
skills and tools they will need to succeed at the next level - 16U
and 18U ADP Programs and beyond. This Centre will also be used
as means of early identification in the OVA's Athlete Development
Model.
Our CAPS are said to be thrilled and are looking forward to
attending the camp, along with some 200 other girls from across the
province. You earned it ladies!
