May 2, 2005 - To help finance their trip to the 18 & Under Canadian Open Championships to be held in Moncton, NB from May 6th to 8th, the 18U CAPS staged another successful fundraiser at the Loblaws Merivale Road store from Friday, April 29th to Sunday, May 1st.  The winner of the $200.00 Loblaws gift certificate was Mary Ann Caputo of Nepean, a regular customer at this Loblaws.  Mary Ann was so taken by the girls and their energy, enthusiasm, and positive attitude, that she donated an additional $50.00 after learning she was the grand prize winner.  Thanks Mary Ann!

 

Thanks again to all the 18U CAPS players and parents that were able to help out.  Also, much thanks go out to Kathy Belanger, the Loblaws store manager, and her staff who are always so supportive of the girls' efforts.
