Inaugural try-outs all set for September 11-12, 2004

A new era for volleyball in the Ottawa area is about to begin with the inaugural tryouts for the National Capitals Volleyball Club (NCVC) now only a week away. Try-outs for the NCVC are scheduled for Saturday, September 11, 2004 and Sunday, September 12, 2004 at St. Pius X High School, 1481 Fisher Avenue in Ottawa (see map below).

The tryout schedule will be as follows:

Saturday, September 11, 2004

16 & Under (born in 1989 or later) Girls Team:
Registration: 8:30am to 9:00am
Tryouts: 9:00am to 12:00noon
18 & Under (born in 1987 or later) Girls Team:
Registration: 12:30pm to 1:00pm
Tryouts: 1:00pm to 4:00pm

Sunday, September 12, 2004

14 & Under (born in 1991 or later) Girls Team:
Registration: 8:30am to 9:00am
Tryouts: 9:00am to 12:00noon
15 & Under (born in 1990 or later) Girls Team
Registration : 12:30pm to 1:00pm
Tryouts: 1:00pm to 4:00pm

Player registration fees for the tryouts will be $20.00 per player and each registered player will receive a commemorative NCVC t-shirt.
